Accounting and Business Administration Departments: Program Description
The Eastern Wyoming College Accounting and Business Administration Departments offer students the opportunity to complete an Associate of Science (AS) degree in Accounting, Associate of Science (AS) degree in Business Administration, or an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree in Business Administration. All of these degrees are designed to be completed in four semesters. The Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree in Business Administration can be completed online.
Students intending to major in marketing, accounting, management, or other specific areas of business generally take the same coursework during the first two years of college. Students completing an AS degree at EWC will find seamless transferability to numerous four year institutions with whom EWC has articulation agreements. Coursework transferred to other institutions is generally accepted. The AAS degree is not designed as a transfer program, but offers students with one of the most flexible programs to provide them with entry level business skills emphasizing accounting, office management, and computer areas.
