EWC Announces Assessment Test Results

Eastern Wyoming College students performed well on the Collegiate Assessment of Academic Proficiency tests taken just prior to their 2008 graduation. All Associate of Arts and Associate of Science graduates were required to take the test.
Of 52 students who tested, 45 received Certificates of Achievement from ACT. The certificates denote that students have attained an achievement level at or above the national mean, according to ACT. Students may receive a certificate for one, two, three, four or all five tests. Subject areas include writing, reading, mathematics, critical thinking and science.
Thirteen students received certificates for all five areas, and another 11 earned certificates in four areas.
