EWC Presents Missoula Children's Theatre

Eastern Wyoming College will be presenting the Missoula Children's Theatre production of Cinderella.
Auditions will be held on May 12 beginning at 4:00 p.m. Those auditioning should arrive at 4:00 p.m and plan to stay for the full two hours. Some of the cast members will be asked to stay for a rehearsal immediately following auditions. The auditions will be held in the EWC gymnasium and are open for all students, grades kindergarten - 12th grade. Cost for participation in the workshop is free. Regular admission prices will apply to the performances.
There will be approximately 50 roles available for local students. No advance preparation is necessary. Most students will rehearse approximately 4 ½ hours each day, Monday through Friday. The performances are scheduled for Friday, May 16 at 7:00 p.m. and Saturday, May 17 at 2:00 p.m.
Among the roles to be cast are Cinderella, her two stepsisters, the stepmother, the Fairy Godmother, the King, the Prince, Cleo the Cat, Fido the Dog, Beggars, Lords and Ladies, Mice and Pumpkins. Assistant Directors will also be cast to aid in rehearsals throughout the week and to take on essential backstage responsibilities. The Missoula Children's Theatre touring productions are complete with costumes, scenery, props and makeup.
Cinderella will be presented on Friday, May 16 at 7:00 p.m. and Saturday, May 17 at 2:00 p.m. at the Eastern Wyoming College Auditorium.
