EWC Dedication of Lancer Hall

Eastern Wyoming College will hold a dedication and open house for the new residence hall, Lancer Hall, on Monday, October 1, 2007 beginning at 2:00 p.m.
EWC Board of Trustees President Sherri Lovercheck will serve as mistress of the ceremony. The VFW Color Guard will present the flags as the EWC Band plays the Star Spangled Banner. A welcome will be provided by Dr. Jack Bottenfield, President, and Spring Moore, EWC Student Senate President.
The ceremony will include a Masonic Cornerstone Ceremony with Tom Nance, Grand Master AF & AM of Wyoming presenting.
Speakers for the day include Jim Rose, Executive Director of the Wyoming Community College Commission; Patrick Korell, EWC Foundation Board President; Senator Curt Meier; and Senate Vice President Jim Anderson.
EWC will also be sealing a time capsule during this ceremony. Lacy Weiss, Housing Council President, and Moore will lead this part of the program. There will be a ribbon cutting at 3:30 followed by tours of the facility. The ceremony and open house will conclude at 6:00 p.m.
