EWC Instructor Named Hometown Hero

TORRINGTON, WY - EWC instructor Ellen Creagar has been named a Hometown Hero by the American Red Cross of Wyoming which honors volunteers. Creagar was named the Education Hero.
The Education Hero award is "presented to a professional or volunteer educator whose actions have a profound influence on a member of the community." Creagar was nominated by a teacher at Trail Elementary for the time spent there as a parent volunteer, in the classroom and as a one-on-one math tutor.
Creagar received her award at a ceremonial breakfast in Cheyenne on June 12.
