TORRINGTON, WY - Eastern Wyoming College invites you to attend a presentation by Tanya Brown, sister of Nicole Brown Simpson, on the signs to look for and escalation of a violent relationship. Please join our sponsor, the Goshen County Task Force on Family Violence and Sexual Assault, and co-hosts Goshen County School District #1, Banner Health, EWC Foundation, Mary Lou Atkins, and the Goshen County Victims Assistance program in welcoming Tanya to Torrington, WY as she speaks to students, staff, and the general public in helping to spread awareness. This free presentation will be held on August 31, 2006 at 7:00 p.m. in the EWC Fine Arts Auditorium.
June 12, 1994 was the date that Nicole Brown Simpson was purportedly murdered by a man who claimed to love her. It was discovered that Nicole was living a secret, treacherous life. She had documented 17 years of emotional and physical abuse. This evidence was secured in a safety deposit box in Brentwood, California. Currently, Tanya is focusing her efforts on speaking out to college students on this growing epidemic. Students, staff, and faculty need to be aware of where it all starts and where it CAN end.the grave!
