New student orientation at EWC

TORRINGTON, WY - New student orientation at EWC will begin at 8:00 Monday, August 28th. Orientation is designed for incoming freshman and is an opportunity to get to know the school, attend informational classes, and meet with advisors. The day begins with a welcoming event in the Fine Arts building. There will be small information sessions focusing on topics such as: Paying for College, A balanced lifestyle and college survival, classroom expectations, and risky business. At noon students will have a chance to meet with their advisor for a casual lunch. At 1:00 there will be placement testing in the Testing Center. To top off the day, local food vendors will showcase what they have to offer students during the "Taste of Torrington" event. For more information contact Mell Cooper at 532-8237.
