Eastern Wyoming College would like to announce the addition of a hair technician certificate

TORRINGTON, WY - Eastern Wyoming College would like to announce the addition of a hair technician certificate. The hair technology certificate is designed for the student who only desires education/training in the area of hair and its designs. Completion of this program prepares the student for national testing in the area of hair technology.
This new certificate program is designed to be completed in one year. Enrollments for this new program will be taken beginning in January 2007. Enrolled students will take classes in the spring, and summer semesters with completion of the program occurring in December of the fall semester. Students interested in more information about this new program should contact Bill, Donna or Judy at 307.532.8265 or stop by the EWC cosmetology building.
"We are excited about the program changes and the addition of the new certificate program. This will provide options for our students," added Bill Schmidt, EWC Cosmetology Director.
Other changes were made to the cosmetology program. One change includes a name change to the Esthetics program. This program has been changed to Skin Technician and course changes were made so that the curriculum will articulate smoothly with the Associate of Applied Science Cosmetology degree program. Similar curriculum changes were also made to the nail technician certificate program and the AAS Cosmetology degree program.
Enrollments for the AAS Cosmetology program and the Nail Technician certificate program are currently being taken for the fall semester. Classes start August 29.
