November 11, 2004
(Torrington, WY) Eastern Wyoming College recently received three Medallion awards at the recent National Council on Marketing and Public Relations District 4 conference held in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The college brought home a gold Medallion on an entry that contained all the materials for the Major Gifts Campaign, a silver Medallion for the Major Gifts Campaign video, and finally, a silver Medallion for the 2004-2005 Class Schedule.
The EWC Development Office Director Lynnea Bartlett was present to receive the two Medallions awarded to the Major Gifts Campaign materials. "We thought the materials we'd developed were very professional looking, and I was surprised and pleased that we could compete with much larger colleges who have many more resources." This is the first time in EWC's history that the college has conducted a Major Gifts Campaign.
Tami Afdahl, Director of Marketing and Public Relations received the Medallion award for the 2004-2005 class schedule. "This is one of the projects we work very hard on at the college and is such an important tool for disseminating class information. We were competing against some great pieces from other colleges and it feels great to have an award winning piece!"
