EWC Gives Back to Community with Project Graduation: Feed a Body, Feed a Mind

(Torrington, WY) The Alpha Omicron Lamda Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society at Eastern Wyoming College is participating in Project Graduation...Feed a
Body, Feed a Mind, an initiative designed to help alleviate hunger and illiteracy in our
community. Graduating students and their guests are asked to bring non-perishable food items or
books to the college graduation ceremony to be held on Friday, May 7, 2004 at 7:30 p.m. in the
EWC Fine Arts Auditorium. Donation drop-off sites will be positioned at the
following locations: Fine Arts Auditorium and at the Steak Fry. After the graduation ceremony, the books
and canned goods will be given to Care and Share.
"We believe this is a good opportunity for the college and chapter to give back to the community" said Casey Cawiezel, chapter president.
Phi Theta Kappa International Honor Society of the Two-Year College administers Project Graduation. Phi Theta Kappa is the largest academic honor society in the world with approximately 90,000 members inducted annually. Phi Theta Kappa includes 1,200 chapters on two-year and community college campuses in all 50 states, Canada, Germany, Japan, and U.S. Territorial possessions.
