EWC Foundation Welcomes New Members

(Torrington, WY) Tom Gardner, Cathy Marsh, and Bill Pickerel have recently been selected to serve as Directors of the EWC Foundation Board. Gardner, a Vice President at First National Bank, served on the Foundation Board from 1991 through 1999, and the Board is very happy to have him back. Both Marsh and Pickerel are new to the board and are looking forward to serving.
Other board members include Mary Lou Atkins, EWC President Jack Bottenfield, Gary Childs, Joe Guth, Dolores Kaufman, Board President Kate Kelly, Secretary/ Treasurer Kenda Knudsen, Patrick Korell, Gary Olson, Bill Rueb, and Board Vice President Guido Smith.
The Eastern Wyoming College Foundation provides a number of generous scholarships to EWC students. Many students would have a difficult time paying for college without the support and generosity of the Foundation. The Foundation is also in the middle of its first ever major gifts campaign. The funds raised will go toward a new dormitory, and expansion of the welding technology and veterinary technology programs. Funds currently pledged total more than $550,000.
