When asked about the bank's generous contribution to the college, Guth replied, "I am pleased that our organization can make a substantial commitment to Eastern Wyoming College. The College has a huge impact on our community and is a terrific asset to the area. It just makes sense that helping Eastern Wyoming College grow will help our community, and in turn our business to grow and prosper. We look forward to the future!"

EWC President Jack Bottenfield commended Guth's contribution to the College in his role as a valuable member of the EWC Foundation Board and chairman of the Foundation Finance Committee, and for his hard work as Director of the Foundation golf tournaments in Torrington and Hulett. "Joe provides great leadership on the EWC Foundation, and he has demonstrated that same leadership with the College's first major gifts campaign. We simply would not be where we are with the fund drive without people like Joe Guth and Hod Kozman, and their Board of Directors."
