EWC to Hold 2nd Annual Christmas Lighting Ceremony

(Torrington, WY) On December 9, 2003, Eastern Wyoming College will hold the second annual Christmas Lighting Ceremony at 6:30 p.m. The lighting will then be followed at 7:00 p.m. by the EWC Christmas Concert. This will be the first concert to be directed by Brent McCabe, the new music instructor at EWC. The festivities will begin with a brief welcome from President Jack Bottenfield and the lighting of the Christmas tree and campus. The community will then be treated to a short sing-a-long of Christmas melodies led by McCabe.
At 7:00 p.m. the Christmas Concert, with performances by the Community Choir, Community Band, Collegiate Choir, and Rainbow Choir, will take place in the Fine Arts Auditorium. A reception will be held in the lobby of the Fine Arts Center following the concert.
