EWC Updates Web Address and Toll Free Phone Number

(Torrington, WY) As part of recent marketing efforts Eastern Wyoming College has shortened its web address and acquired an additional toll-free vanity phone number.
The web site can now simply be accessed by typing ewc.wy.edu. Although users can still use http:// or www, it is not necessary. Recently the college was able to register a .edu domain. These domains are reserved for colleges and universities. "The recently shortened web address containing the .edu extension will help our students and visitors access the web easier. It also will help people who are searching for Eastern Wyoming College on the web find us a little bit quicker." said Dr. Ann Beaulieu, Vice President and Dean of Instruction. The web site is also currently under going some changes to reflect the new logo and look of the recently completed brand identity study. Please visit the web site often to see the changes.
EWC is also adding a new toll free phone number. The new number will be 1.866.EASTWYO (1.866.327.8996). Marketing and Public Relations Director Tami Afdahl is very excited about the new toll free number. "We were very pleased that a number was available that is reflective of our name. We think it will be memorable for students and others to call the college and receive more information." The new number is effective immediately.
