Farella will compete at the College National Finals Rodeo (CNFR) in June with partner Burt Reno. Reno is a former EWC rodeo team member who now competes for the University of Wyoming (UW)." Jerod had a great year again," Jake Clark, EWC Rodeo Coach, said. "His consistency in roping sure paid off".

Freshman Kean Edwards won the Reserve Champion calf roper title behind former EWC team member Wes Borders. Edwards won the short round at Riverton's rodeo with a 9.3 and placed in the average to give him enough points to move into the second place position. He will also compete at the CNFR. Borders, of UW, competed for EWC the last three years. Borders won his first calf roping title last year while at EWC. "Kean did what he needed to do in the short round," Clark said. "As a freshman he showed a great level of maturity and will to win."
