EWC Hosts Jazz Trio

(Torrington, WY November 11, 2002) James Dapognys Chicagoans, a jazz trio, will perform Sunday, November 17 at 3:00 p.m. in the Eastern Wyoming College Fine Arts Auditorium. The Chicagoans are Grammy nominees and a three-piece band, that plays music inspired by jazz musicians such as Fats Waller and Duke Ellington and American composers Irving Berlin and George Gershwin as well as their own compositions.
The three-piece band consists of Kim Cusack, a clarinetist and full-time jazz musician, drummer Wayne Jones who is a sometimes jazz critic and reviewer, and James Dapogny, pianist, arranger, bandleader and author.
Tickets are available at the EWC Community Education office, Print Express and Pinnacle Bank. Adults are $5, Seniors and students are $3 and children under 12 are admitted free.
