Many students rely on Direct Student Loans to finance their education. These loans have low fixed interest rates and do not require credit checks or a co-signer. Direct student loans also provide a variety of deferment and forbearance options with extended repayment terms. The Direct Parent Loans for Undergraduate Students (PLUS) have a slightly higher fixed interest rate and the parent must demonstrate credit worthiness.

Eastern Wyoming College participates in the Direct Loan Program where loans are provided by the federal government.
