ACT
- ACT is a non-profit organization that is known for its college entrance exam.
- Can be used to qualify for the Hathaway Scholarship. Contact the Financial Aid department for details.

ADA Accommodations
- Any student enrolled at Eastern Wyoming College who has a documented physical disability or learning disability is eligible for assistance.

- Accommodation testing may include a distraction-reduced testing environment, a reader, or a scribe.
CAAP
- CAAP exams are a set of standardized tests developed to test core educational skills. It is the college-wide exit assessment for students earning Associate of Arts and Associate of Science degrees at Eastern Wyoming College.
- Exams are administered in the Spring semester.

CLEP
- Students showing proficiency by passing a CLEP exam may earn EWC college credit. Grades of S and U are given on all examinations, and the credit is included in the hours toward graduation (but not included in the student’s grade average).

- Students should confirm with the college or university to which they are transferring that their test scores will be accepted if given on-campus at EWC.

- All associate degree-seeking students must take placement exams in English, math and reading prior to registration to aid in proper class placement.
- All certificate and non degree-seeking students must take the placement exams prior to enrolling in certain English or math courses.
- Students with appropriate ACT scores may not need to take the placement exams.
- Cost of placement testing is $15, payable in the EWC Business Office.

DSST

GED®
- GED® tests are a group of five tests which (when passed) certifies that the taker has high school level academic skills. Only individuals who have not earned a high school diploma may take the GED tests.
- The Adult Learning Center offers services to adults in GED preparation. For more information, call Diane McQueen at 532-8399.
- A fee of $60 is assessed for the GED exams; individual tests may be retaken for an additional fee of $10 each.
- GED tests are by appointment only, and are administered at the following times: Mondays at 9 a.m., Wednesdays at 6 p.m., and Thursdays at 1 p.m. To schedule an exam, call Janet Martindale at 532-8288.
LSAT
- The LSAT test is a half-day standardized test required for admission to all American Bar Association (ABA)–approved law schools, most Canadian law schools, and many non–ABA–approved law schools. It provides a standard measure of acquired reading and verbal reasoning skills that law schools can use as one of several factors in assessing applicants.
- The test is administered four times a year at EWC. For more information, or to schedule an exam, see Law School Admission Council.

WorkKeys
- WorkKeys measures skills that employers rate as critical to successful employee performance.
- Includes tests in three areas - Applied Mathematics, Reading for Information, and Locating Information.
- Testers are allowed 54 minutes to complete each of the three tests.
- May be used to qualify for the Hathaway Scholarship. Contact the Financial Aid department for details.
- Appropriate scores may qualify to receive a Career Readiness Certificate from the Wyoming Department of Workforce Services. The certificate is issued at three levels - gold, silver, and bronze. See Wyoming Career Readiness Certificate for more information.
- Practice tests are available at WorkKeys, ACT for a cost of $4.50 each.
